Module 1 — The Baby Room as a Learning Environment
Learn how to design calm, sensory-balanced, attachment-focused environments that support babies’ emotional safety and early communication.
Module 2 — Health and Safety for Babies
Develop advanced competence in safe sleep checks, allergy and anaphylaxis management, choking prevention and daily risk assessment.
Module 3 — Responsive Care, Co-Regulation and Emotional Safety
Build deep understanding of responsive caregiving, stress cues and co-regulation strategies that protect babies’ emotional wellbeing.
Module 4 — Responsive Routines and Individual Care Plans
Learn how to create and follow personalised sleep, feeding and comfort routines that respect babies’ cues and family preferences.
Module 5 — Planning for Babies: Curriculum and Play
Understand how to plan relationship-led, sensory-rich learning using heuristic play, schemas and the EYFS Prime Areas.
Module 6 — Observations and Developmental Tracking
Develop accurate observation skills, understand milestones to age two and contribute to the Assess–Plan–Do–Review cycle.

Build professional communication skills to support families through separation, transitions and daily information sharing.

Learn to recognise early indicators of additional needs, adapt environments and work effectively with the SENCO.
