  • Module 2 — Baby-Specific Safeguarding
    Understand injury red flags, non-mobile baby bruising, choking prevention, and your safeguarding duties as a practitioner.
  • Module 3 — Ratio Management and Safe Supervision
    Learn how to maintain safe ratios, active supervision, and line-of-sight/line-of-hearing supervision during all care routines.
  • Module 4 — Safe Handling, Lifting and Physical Support
    Gain confidence in lifting, holding, lowering, and supporting babies safely based on developmental readiness.
  • Module 5 — Attachment Theory (Introduction)
    Discover how secure relationships, responsive care, and co-regulation support babies’ emotional security and wellbeing.
  • Module 6 — Nutrition and Feeding for Babies and Young Toddlers
    Learn safe bottle-feeding, introducing solids, choking prevention, allergy awareness, and responsive feeding.
  • Module 7 — Quality Interactions With Babies
    Understand how warm, attuned, developmentally appropriate interactions build early learning, communication, and emotional safety.
  • Module 8 — Understanding Developmental Milestones (0–12 Months)
    Learn typical milestones for movement, communication, and play—and how they guide safe handling and early identification of concerns.
  • Module 9 — Health, Hygiene and Infection Control
    Build essential knowledge on handwashing, sterilising, nappy changing hygiene, cross-contamination prevention, and EYFS health expectations.
  • Module 10 — Bottle Feeding: Safe, Responsive & Hygienic Practice
    Understand step-by-step bottle preparation, sterilisation, feeding safety, allergy management, and responsive feeding cues.
  • Module 11 — Safe, Hygienic Nappy Changing in the Baby Room
    Follow a clear, safe, and hygienic nappy-changing routine, including PPE, recording, safeguarding, and infection monitoring.
  • Module 12 — Safe Sleep for Babies and Toddlers
    Learn safe sleep positions, equipment, bedding, monitoring, settling routines, and how to reduce risks such as overheating or positional asphyxia.
